New Nursing Student Orientation

All new students are required to attend the Tampa nursing school orientation session conducted approximately one week before the start of the nursing programs. The orientation gives students a formal introduction to the schools policies and procedures contained within the Academic Catalog. Additionally, students can meet their classmates, faculty, and staff who will all be instrumental resources during their education time at The Center. The orientation session will also include information about policies, procedures, school rules, schedules, and classes. Books, materials, and supplies will be handed out during orientation.

Often, students meet their new families at orientation as strangers become friends who will help each other throughout the program. Students are also oriented to campus resources such as career and academic counseling. Students should take this opportunity to have any final questions answered and share their thoughts as each individual moves toward the next step in their nursing education.

Applications for next term are being accepted right now! Contact the admissions office if you're ready to begin the process.
