LPN Program Admissions
Admission into the Tampa Practical Nursing Program

The Center has a competitive process for entrance into the practical nursing program. Graduates must display certain competencies and traits that are essential to the nursing field. To ensure that our students will be able to accomplish this goal, our admissions process includes certain standards described below.
LPN Program Admission Process

Acceptance into the practical nursing program is based on a variety of criteria including, but not limited to, answers provided on applications, personal/professional references, an interview, exam (entrance and critical thinking) results and past school transcripts. A letter is sent to inform the applicant of acceptance or denial status.
The number of open spaces varies per year therefore meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a seat in the program. Additional requirements may be necessary including:
- Payment of the registration, enrollment and background check costs
- Payment of program deposit
- A plan for payment of tuition and other program fees
- Completion of an Enrollment Agreement
- A plan for the order in which classes will be taken
- Attendance at our orientation program
The Center in Tampa is approved to offer financial aid to those who qualifyfor the Practical Nursing Program. Information about Federal Financial Aid as well as Private and State funding are available through our financial aid office.
