Nursing Program Designed to Help You Succeed
Nursing Program in Tampa
The Center for Allied Health & Nursing Education has programs for Practical Nursing and Professional Registered Nursing at our Tampa Campus. The programs were designed as "Open Curriculum" which provide entry and exit points for adult students to achieve varying levels of licensure as they progress in their educational goals.
Nursing students completing our program who successfully graduate and pass the NCLEX have the knowledge and skill to function as a safe nurse under their state license's scope of practice. Once in the health care environment, graduates are able to improve and safeguard their patients' health and well-being. During the course of study, instructors will teach students to function as nurse and assume the obligations central to the delivery of nursing care, including health advocacy, maintenance and rehabilitative care.
Each nursing program combines theoretical lectures with clinical experiences allowing students to acquire the comprehension, aptitudes, and proficiencies required to safely practice in today's fast-paced health care environment. Each course in the program builds on previous knowledge and work experience gained. Our nursing students' progress in a systematic step-by-step approach as concepts and course teachings develop from the simple to the complex.
