Practicum Experiences
The Center has selected clinical experiences in Tampa to provide practical nursing experience for students in the LPN to RN Bridge Program. Students will be able to participate in and observe live patient care which is relevant to the course objectives and program outcomes.
Clinical experiences are integral to the successful completion of The Center's nursing programs and students must provide evidence of all current immunization and other health requirements which may be mandated by the clinical site. Nursing students who cannot meet these requirements may be prohibited from attending their clinical experiences. Additionally, healthcare facilities may have other criteria for students including HIPPA, confidentiality forms, and their own unique orientation sessions. Should a student fail to meet any requirements, the result could be an interruption of the program and would require re-entry into the nursing program.
